Stryker Enhances On-Site Safety

The TDS Enterprise Suite was designed and deployed for Stryker to strengthen their overall security and to provide more safe and secure working environments.

Each of Stryker’s four sites processes a substantial number of employees, contractors and visitors on a daily basis, to ensure the health, safety and legal requirements were met, Stryker sought a solution that ensured their compliance.

A centralised solution was required to digitise on-site safety and security procedures for individuals who were engaging with these facilities.

Process

The TDS Enterprise Suite was custom-tailored and configured to cater for Stryker’s complex needs. The solution includes real-time data collection of all personnel entering and exiting these facilities, allowing management to monitor and control different aspects of security and safety such as access authorisation status, badge details and visitor management.

Stryker also wished to accurately account for on-site personnel in emergency events. As such, TDS Life-Safety was integrated with the TDS Enterprise Suite to facilitate a digital Emergency Evacuation solution. During emergency evacuations, the innovative solution allows personnel to ‘Swipe Safe’ and update real-time missing lists, providing ERT’s and marshalls with full visibility of all personnel still on site.

Results

The Stryker facilities located in Co. Cork and Co. Limerick were fitted with the TDS Enterprise Suite, providing a comprehensive collaboration of Access Control, Visitor Management, digital Emergency Evacuation planning and Video Management.
