Google enhance their facility with pioneering Visitor Management solution

Challenges

Google sites attract millions of visitors around the globe annually. To efficiently cater to high volumes of visitor traffic and to alleviate the administrative burden of receptionists, Google required a digital Visitor Management solution.

TDS Visitor was chosen to streamline the check-in process by offering visitors the ability to pre-register, self-service check-in, alert hosts of their arrival and print unique ID badges.

Process

TDS worked in partnership with Google to create a unique Visitor Management solution that contained Access Control integration capabilities.

Google’s primary objective is ‘to focus on the user and all else will follow’. With this in mind, TDS worked closely with Evoke, a hardware design company. The TDS Visitor kiosks provided were designed and constructed to provide a unique user experience, aligning with Google’s famously tech-led office environments.

The pioneering Visitor Management solution allows visitors to pre-register, take photos, agree to NDA’s and read barcode IDs.

Results

To date, over 10 million visitors have checked-in to Google sites via TDS Visitor. With 277 kiosks deployed across 120 cities in 44 countries, visitors and staff use our Visitor Management solution with ease.

Additionally, facility managers and security staff can access detailed reports and insights to improve the planning of catering, parking and hospitality management.
